Crowding of the Teeth
When the jaw is too small or narrow and there is insufficient room for the teeth to erupt.
Missing Lateral Incisors
Spacing of Teeth
Bite Issues (also called Malocclusions)
When the teeth or jaw structure do not fit together properly, this condition can cause damage to the enamel and teeth, jaw discomfort, and chewing and speech difficulties. Left untreated, some cases can eventually cause injury to teeth and jaw joints.
Protrusion
The upper teeth extend extremely forward, or the lower teeth do not extend far enough forward. This condition impacts the appearance and functions of your teeth, and usually makes it difficult to even keep the lips closed.
Overbite (aka Over-jet, Class II)
the upper front teeth extend out over the lower front teeth, sometimes causing the lower front teeth to bite into the roof of the mouth.
Underbite (Class III)
Where the lower jaw extends out, causing the lower front teeth to sit in front of the upper front teeth.
Openbite
This is where the front teeth do not overlap or even meet as the bite is closed, and causes great difficulty with eating. In many cases, it is caused by thumb-sucking or tongue thrusting.
Crossbite
The upper teeth sit inside the lower teeth, may cause tooth stratification and misaligned jaw growth.
