Appointments
We do our best to accommodate your schedule while maintaining a high level of orthodontic care. We make every effort to stay on schedule and save you time. Being on time for your appointment and notifying our office of any loose brackets or broken wires ahead of time will help keep all of us on schedule. If you must change an appointment, please call as soon as possible. Unfortunately, rescheduling may result in a less desirable appointment time.

Upon checking in with our receptionist, we will provide you with a disposable toothbrush. You can then wait in the “round room” or reception area.

Longer appointments, like putting on braces, taking off braces and bonding brackets on, are scheduled in the 9-1 range when there is more time to focus on the task at hand. The popular before and after school hours are used for shorter appointments, which allows us to accommodate as many people as possible.

Please try to let us know as soon as possible when you need to reschedule appointments.

Finances
We believe orthodontic treatment should be available to everyone, so we offer several flexible payment options and discount plans with no interest. Orthodontic treatment is available for everyone. We work with you to make sure your payment plan meets the requirements of your budget.

We understand that financial difficulties sometimes do occur. We will make every effort to accommodate patients in these cases. Please consult us if you have a problem and we will work with you. Many times a simple phone call will avert any misunderstandings.

Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith, but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Our office will be happy to bill your insurance company for orthodontic coverage as a courtesy to you. We will work with you on insurance coverage, but please remember you are responsible for charges by our office left unpaid by your insurance company. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

HouseCalls
Prose Orthodontics uses HouseCalls, a telephone appointment reminder system , which provides you with the courtesy of a timely, efficient reminder of your next scheduled appointment. You will receive a call one or two days before your next scheduled appointment to remind you of the date and time of the appointment. To ensure that you receive your appointment reminder, calls are scheduled for late afternoon. You will also be asked to confirm your appointment by following the prompts and using your telephone keypad.

If you are unavailable when the call is made and have voicemail or an answering machine, the system will leave you a brief reminder message.

Working through our website, T.LINK gives patients and parents 24/7 online access to important account information from the privacy of your home via the internet or a touch-tone telephone.
